Matariki Festival 2024 hosted by Paparore School

Today, Te Kura o Paparore hosted a vibrant Matariki Festival for our kura and hapori on the Peninsula!

Those who supported and attended the festival were treated with performances from the following kura: Ngataki & Te Hāpua, Pukenui, Waiharara, Awanui, and of course, Paparore.

It was a day filled with connection, whanaungatanga, sharing, waiata, and hapori celebrating the rising of Matariki together.  The festivities culminated in a delicious hangi lovingly prepared by Paparore school, whānau members, and our wonderful Paparore community.

A big mihi to everyone who made this special occasion a success!
